Lesson Excerpt
When we say that a number is divisible by another number, we mean that the number can be divided by another number without leaving a remainder. For example, 12 is divisible by 4 because 12 ? 4 = 3. 12 is not divisible by 5 because 12 ? 5 equals 2 with a remainder of 2.
